“Promote, protect and ensure full and equal enjoyment of all human rights by all persons with disabilities, and to promote respect for their inherent dignity” CRPD

As a result of our belief in the above-mentioned, TCTW was founded in 2018, registered under 798 AD in August 2021 to serve as the first of its kind in the area. Till now, TCTW supported more than 150 children and their families through the provision of 1,350 therapeutical, consultation, guidance, mentoring and follow-up sessions. Besides TCTW is a pioneer in the area empowering schools in their shifts to inclusion.

We cater for almost all difficulties and disabilities because our team is well experienced, passionate and considerate. For better implementation and results, we collaborate with the educational institutions and parents/caregivers to form a team that works on the objectives set for a person with disability or difficulty.

Referal Services

In collaboration and networking with service providers in Aley district and neighboring regions, we refer beneficiaries to the suitable service provider if the service isn’t available at our center.

2018 was a year to establish and launch the services by involving the municipalities, daycare centers, public and private sectors educational institutions, pediatricians, and local community in awareness raising sessions.

Besides Speech and language therapy, Special Education, Psychomotor therapy was added to our services due to arising need. Parenting sessions was administered for the parents/caregivers of the persons with disabilities in collaboration with Arab Resource Collective and UNICEF.

2020

It was a busy year supporting persons with disabilities and their families in ONE of the TOUGHEST years due to COVID 19 pandemic and its effects.

2021

Registered at Ministry of Interior under 798. Added Physiotherapy to our services for needs satisfaction Networking with INGOs in the area for referrals and service provision. International Medical Corps IMC contacted us for referring children with disabilities to receive specialized services. Signed an MoU with Terre Des Hommes-Italy for specialized service provision that is still present. Collaborated with Terre Des Hommes-Italy to implement parenting sessions at TCTW
